Prior was selected by the Brisbane Lions with the 59th pick in the 2019 National Draft and quickly made his mark, playing 18 games in his debut season in 2021. His 2022 campaign saw him feature in 12 matches, including the Lions’ thrilling two-point elimination final win over Richmond. At the end of that season, Prior was rewarded with a two-year contract extension.
Known for his ability to go head-to-head with small forwards and his intercepting prowess, Prior showcased his skills early in his career, particularly during the 2021 season.
