Griffin Logue was selected by Fremantle with the 8th overall pick in the 2016 AFL Draft, making an immediate impact in his debut season. He played his first game in Round 3 of the 2017 season against the Western Bulldogs at Domain Stadium, quickly establishing himself as a versatile player. Over six seasons with Fremantle, Logue played 64 games and kicked nine goals, showcasing his adaptability by excelling in both defensive and forward roles. Griff is a strong and athletic key defender in the AFL, known for his ability to stop opponents with tight, physical defense. He has good speed and agility, allowing him to chase down players and quickly close gaps. Logue is also effective at reading the game, often taking intercept marks to prevent forward attacks
