Carys is one of the most dominant ball winners in the competition, averaging just under 20 disposals per game in the WAFLW as a 17-year-old in 2024. Known for her elite contested game, she combines exceptional hands with a powerful kick, making her a formidable presence in the midfield. A tenacious contested player, Carys excels at winning the hard ball and using her clean hands to set up teammates. Not only does she have a knack for finding the ball, but her defensive efforts are also top-notch, finishing in the competition’s top 10 for tackles with 73 in just 13 games.

In addition to her midfield prowess, Carys is also a reliable forward, capable of kicking goals. She’s strong overhead and has a natural goal sense, making her a dual-threat both in the contest and around the goals.
