Rhianna Ingram is a dynamic rebounding defender drafted by the Gold Coast Suns with Pick 44 in the 2025 AFLW National Draft, following an elite top-age season that established her as one of Queensland’s most consistent and influential young talents.

Ingram developed her game through the Gold Coast Suns Academy and Southport Sharks pathways, where she became recognised for her clean foot skills, composure and ability to drive play from the back half. Comfortable taking kick-ins and initiating rebound, she combines defensive discipline with an attacking mindset, consistently breaking lines and setting up forward movement. Her football IQ, decision-making and defensive pressure made her a standout small defender throughout her draft year.

At the AFL Women’s Under 18 National Championships, Ingram was among Queensland’s best performers, averaging 17.3 disposals at 76 per cent efficiency alongside 4.8 rebound 50s. Her performances earned her selection in the Under 18 All Australian team, recognising her impact at elite junior representative level.

Ingram enters the AFLW system as a composed and reliable defender with the ability to generate offence from the back half, bringing pace, skill and strong decision-making to the Gold Coast Suns program.
